Conveniently situated just a few hundred feet from our villa, this hotel offers our guests easy access to and from the wedding festivities. You may explore the surroundings at your leisure, knowing that you're just a short walk away from the heart of the celebration. Whether you choose to wander through the picturesque streets or simply relax in the comfort of your accommodations, you'll find yourself perfectly positioned to make the most of this special occasion. To guarantee accommodations for all our guests, we’ve coordinated with the hotel manager to secure room reservations. Once you’ve RSVP’d, simply text us, and we’ll share your room assignment. After receiving your room assignment, please contact the hotel to confirm your reservation, providing your full name and referencing "Castillo Wedding." If you're assigned an apartment and wish to include breakfast, an additional fee will be added to your total.

Rental Car

Florence Airport Rental

Guests are advised to obtain an International Driving Permit as a precaution when renting a vehicle in Italy. Without one, you may face fines if stopped by authorities. The permit costs $20 and can be easily applied for through the AAA website linked below: https://www.aaa.com/vacation/idpf.html Guests can book car rental reservations through various travel websites, such as Kayak, Expedia, and AAA, which often offer discounted rates. After picking up your rental car, the drive from Florence Airport to the hotel is a scenic 50 to 55 minutes.

Flight

Newark/JFK to Florence

We strongly recommend purchasing your plane tickets by October, with November being the latest, to avoid increased ticket prices. In addition, we suggest our guests opt for flights to Florence as it offers the closest and most convenient access to Tuscany! As previously mentioned we recommend our guests fly out the evening of May 5th so that you may arrive the morning of May 6th.
