We met bright and early at Cityside Middle School on a Monday morning before school started. Tyce walked into school ready for another day of teaching, but little did he know Cupid (AKA Sarah Huizenga the Principal of Cityside Middle School) had another plan. She happily introduced Tyce and I to each other before I began subbing for the day. I agreed to continue subbing for the remainder of the week... for no particular reason;) Tyce texted me at the end of that week, on the 23rd of December, and we planned our first date for after the New Year. However, after three days of texting, we decided we couldn't wait that long. So, we met for drinks at Big Lake Brewing. We stayed until the brewery closed getting to know each other, and the rest is history. Tyce and I visited each other on weekends as I finished my last semester at Central Michigan. Tyce would travel to support me at my track meets, and I would travel to watch him coach baseball. We made it through long distance and I moved back home. We went on dates, took a trip to St. Louis, hung out with each other's families and friends, and created so many lasting memories together. After a year of dating, Tyce planned the most amazing surprise proposal and asked me to marry him at Holland State Park. We are so excited for this next chapter of our lives together and we cannot wait to celebrate our marriage with you all!
