We ask that you arrive and be in your seat by 6:30pm as the ceremony will begin promptly at 7:00pm. You may arrive earlier as it will give you time to park, sign the guest book, and find your seat. If you arrive after the ceremony has already started, you will not be able to be seated and will have to wait until cocktail hour to enter.
We are having an "Unplugged" ceremony, no phones or cameras in use until the reception, as we don't want any phones in our photos. There will be an opportunity during the ceremony to quickly pull out your phone to take a couple of pictures when advised by our officiant. The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos/videos as you'd like!
We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. The dress code is Formal attire. Men should wear a suit with a button up shirt and tie or a tuxedo (if you choose). Women should wear a floor-length gown or a pantsuit. Please no jeans or sneakers. Avoid wearing shades of white, nudes, browns, neon, or sparkly colors (full glitter or sequins). Please view the below links for examples. https://www.pinterest.com/aliyah22/ladies-wedding-guest-attire-inspo/ https://www.pinterest.com/aliyah22/mens-wedding-guest-attire-inspo/
We kindly ask that you avoid colors traditionally reserved for the bride: whites, ivories, and creams. Please also avoid wearing any shade of brown, neon and sparkly colors (full glitter or sequins).
Your formal invitation will be made out to "(Your Name) & Guest" if a plus one has been given to you. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!
We love and adore your little ones, however, we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception as an adult only event with the exception of a few. We encourage you to use this night as a fun date night. We appreciate you making prior arrangements so that you can celebrate with us.
The venue is located conveniently close to Fort Lauderdale beach (6 mins, less than 2 miles). There are an abundance of hotels and Airbnbs to choose from in the area. We recommend staying anywhere between Hollywood, FL and Pompano Beach, FL. Ubers and Lyfts are regularly used around the city. See the "travel" tab at the top of the page for more information.
Please book your accommodations as soon as possible. Our wedding, being in March, will most likely fall during Miami/Fort Lauderdale spring break and hotels/airbnb's can get very expensive and book up quickly.
We’ve compiled some of our favorite restaurants into the below google sheet link. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/10vJFoUhWLxCL-hw-gfr622R99NXse22Cl3f5FK_v2-c/edit
