We request attire be semi formal. Suggested (not required) color theme for guests can be found in the Gallery tab. Most importantly, dress for comfort keeping the heat in mind.
See the Registry tab.
There is plenty of free parking at the church. For the reception, The Firehouse Restaurant offers valet parking for a $10 fee. There is also metered street parking, a nearby parking lot, and a public parking garage. Parking tips: Valet is the easiest—$10 for wedding guests. For longer stays, use the Front & L surface lot or nearby garages (Old Sacramento or Tower Bridge) — both offer $15 full-day pre-pay. Guests paying at storefronts may qualify for up to $5 parking validation.

Yes, there will be a bar and drinks will be available! We’re happy to provide each guest with one complimentary drink — you’ll receive a drink ticket at the reception. After that, additional beverages will be available for purchase. We’re looking forward to celebrating with you!
Thank you so much for asking! We truly wish we could extend the invitation, but we’re currently at our maximum capacity of 200 guests and, unfortunately, can’t accommodate any additional attendees. We hope you understand and are so grateful to have you celebrating with us.
Thank you for checking! We truly wish we could include everyone, but we’ve decided to keep the reception an adults-only celebration. We hope you understand, and we so appreciate your support as we celebrate this special day.

Yes, food will be served. There are five entrées to select from. Food selections must be made at the time you RSVP. No orders for meals will be taken during the reception. Meal options do include vegetarian and gluten-free choices.
We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos during the wedding ceremony. We’ve hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture these special moments, and guest photos (especially from the aisle) can sometimes unintentionally get in the way. Thank you for helping us keep the ceremony focused, beautiful, and uninterrupted. We promise to share the professional photos afterward!
The reception ends at 11pm. There won’t be an official after-party following the reception, but for those who’d like to keep the celebration going, Old Sacramento has plenty of great spots to grab a drink or enjoy the nightlife. The newlyweds will be heading over to the ReUnion (926 2nd Street), the hottest place in Old Sac! Eat, Drink, Sing, Dance and Live! Come have fun!!
The two closest hotels to Old Sacramento are The Kimpton Sawyer and Embassy Suites. You’ll also find several other hotel options listed under the Travel tab on our wedding website. Please note that accommodations in and around Old Sacramento and downtown tend to be on the pricier side, so we recommend booking early especially if you’re hoping to stay nearby!
No, they are not at the same location. The wedding is in West Sacramento at Holy Cross Parish and the reception is in Old Sacramento at The Firehouse Restaurant. The travel time between these two locations can range from 7 to 15 minutes.
August in Sacramento is typically hot, with daytime temperatures often reaching the mid to high 90s (°F). However, we do often get a natural cooling wind known as the Delta Breeze, which can roll in during the late afternoon or early evening and help cool things down- especially just in time for the reception! That said, since the breeze isn’t guaranteed every day, we recommend dressing for warm weather and staying hydrated. We’ll do our best to keep everyone comfortable!
Yes, you may send it to our home. Our address is on the invitation envelope.
