We're Getting Married!

We both had enough of the dating scene and decided to give the whole online dating thing a try. One day when scrolling through Bumble we happened to come across each other’s profiles. Thankfully, because I was at my friend’s house, it put us within 45 miles of each other so we were able to match. We must’ve both liked what we saw and read because we both swiped left. We started chatting right away and two weeks later we’d meet at Brewer’s Alley for our first date. After ordering the same lunch off the menu we both knew we had found something special. We’ve been inseparable ever since!

On Christmas evening, after spending a full day with family and friends, we came back home and were getting ready to settle in with a movie and a glass of wine when Harlow came in to the kitchen with what I thought was just another Christmas card in hand. I read the card and to my surprise it said “Will you be my stepmom?” I looked over and Brett was down on one knee. I was clearly in shock when I said “shut up!” and “are you serious?” before saying “yes!” to spending forever with the two of them. We are all so excited to start this next chapter of our lives and we can’t wait to celebrate with you. See you in September!
