Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We ask that you wear Sundays best, or “tea party”attire . No white , black, or pink.

Can you give me ideas on what to wear ?

Answer

Absolutely! Please reach out to either the bride or the groom and we can give you inspiration as well as places to find something to fit our dress-code.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We want our wedding to be as intimate as possible, because of this, if we do not know your date we would prefer they not come. Please reach out to either of us if you are wanting to bring someone else, and we can discuss.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Absolutely! This is a FAMILY wedding, we want everybody to be with us. We do ask that you limit how many children you bring with you, no more than three children under the age of 10, as we will not have a designated babysitter for the wedding.

Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?

Answer

The parks public parking lot will be used.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately due to the size of our ceremony venue, we will only be able to have a small circle of family join us for the ceremony. Special instructions will be given to those who will be attending.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP by midnight on February 25th 2025. We will send out final reminders the day before.

Can I RSVP online or do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

Answer

We are offering both for you to do to your liking. We will accept both online and mailed in RSVP, but we will not accept a text saying “I will be there” or accept anything from word of mouth.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! Our intimate ceremony will take place outdoors, and our reception will be held indoors with outdoor seating.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please, 100%, reach out to us ! We will make any accommodations necessary .

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

Answer

We will have a meat, cheese, and bread grazing table as well as an abundance of fruit and desserts . For the few who have offered to stay past the wedding to help us clean up, will be provided with catering.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

No. Neither bride or groom will be of legal drinking age, and we want our wedding to be as family friendly as possible. We will offer a mocktail/soda bar including sparkling water, Poppi, various sodas, and plenty of fruit add ins.

Can i pregame before the wedding?

Answer

No, we will not allow any of our guests to show up to the party intoxicated, neither drunk nor high. it is a family friendly celebration and it will not be tolerated.

There’s no registry! What should we do for your wedding gift?

Answer

At this point we thankfully have everything we need . If you do wish to bring a gift, please consider contributing to our Honeymoon fund, as we are looking to go out of state for our intimate celebration.

What time will the wedding reception end?

Answer

The reception will come to an end between 7-8pm . We are old souls with early bedtimes!

Could you suggest things to do or places to eat while i am in town for the wedding?

Answer

If you are looking for something fun to do with family before the wedding we highly recommend visiting the Toledo Zoo or taking a trip to Franklin Park Mall. As for food, Toledo thankfully has a very wide variety of foods. Our favorite spot is Boil Shack.

Can I post wedding photos on my social media?

Answer

We kindly ask that you please hold off on sharing wedding photos until you see either the bride or groom post first. This may be after the honeymoon.

Question

Will there be a phone policy?

Answer

Yes. Our wedding will be as unplugged as possible. Unless you are taking pictures between the time of the ceremony and reception, or you absolutely have to take a call, we ask that you silence your phones and keep them tucked away.

Why isn’t …. attending?

Answer

Unfortunately, not everyone can attend our wedding. As sad as this is, we understand life gets busy and people have opinions; so sadly we will not have everyone in our families attending .
