Carmel Arts & Design District

Chris and Sarah live around the corner from the Carmel Arts District. We love to go on walks and explore what the shops have to offer. Be sure to stop by The Pint Room or Muldoon's for a meal.

Midtown Plaza Carmel

After hitting up the shops, take a stroll to Midtown Plaza for a beer at Sun King or candle making at Penn & Beech. There is plenty for the kids to do here, too, including playing ping pong and pool! You might even be able to catch a movie on the big screen in the plaza.

Newfields & Indianapolis Museum of Art

Take a walk around the gardens at Newfields or explore the attached Indianapolis Museum of Art. If you are wondering where we took our beautiful engagement photos, this is it!

Massachusetts Avenue

Have some tacos at Bakersfield paired with a margarita on Mass Ave!

Turkey Run State Park

Take a hike! ... At Turkey Run State Park. It may be humid, so be sure to bring your water. DO IT.

Bottleworks District

Explore the old Coke Factory that was renovated to have a food hall and duck pin bowling.

St. Elmo Steak House

Treat yo' self to a fantastic steak dinner. Don't forget to get the famous shrimp cocktail and prepare to clear your sinuses!

The Cake Bake Shop

Have some tea or eat some cake at the Cake Bake Shop. Home of one of Oprah's Favorite Things! The original location is in Broad Ripple, located in a cute renovated home.
