We're getting married!

Written by Ali: The journey to finding Jeffrey wasn't an easy one, but it was so worth it. Jeff and I met how everyone meets these days... in Schnucks, next to the avocados. After a couple of weeks chatting back and forth, I bluntly asked him, "When are you going to take me out on a date?" We planned for February 13th, 2021 in Arnold, Missouri. Now known as "the City of Lub." While we don't necessarily believe in "love at first sight," it was pretty dang close. After our date, I distinctly remember an overwhelming sense of peace come over me as I was driving home. I now know that it was God's way of telling me that my search was over. By our third date, Jeff was confident that I was the one. He let me know, as we sat in his car in the Arnold Applebee's parking lot. I felt the same way but wasn't ready to let him know just yet. We continued to spend every other weekend together until it was time for me to meet his son, Maverick. Watching the man who I was falling in love with be such an amazing father to such a precious boy solidified that they were going to be mine forever. Written by Jeff: Hey guys. Blue Eyes here. Now it's time for my perspective, buckle up. Now since I had wrangled in Big Al and convinced her to stick around for a few months, it was time to take the next step. She drove down to Cape for a weekend and met my best man for life, Mav. I was nervous as could be but (I think I) hid it well? I had zero doubt in Al and knew she'd be great with him. It was Mav I was worried about, at that time he wasn't the wild outgoing boy we all know today. To no ones surprise, he fell for her just as hard as I did. How could he not? I knew she'd be good with him, but I wasn't prepared to see them love each other, as I loved the both of them, so quickly. The rest is history.
