Question
Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes, sort of. No jeans. No T shirts. No sneakers or flip flops. We prefer you to wear a suit, tux, sports coat, that kind of thing. Dress to impress, like you're meeting the Queen of England.
Question
What kind of events/activities should I prepare for?
Answer
We will be doing a Cake Smash, and a Dollar Dance during the reception. More information on these can be found under the "Schedule" tab, but essentially, you're gonna need to bring some cash. Other activities will include: Yard Jenga Cornhole and more to come.
Question
What happens after the ceremony?
Answer
After the ceremony, the bridal party will spend the following hour with the photographer. During this time, guests can head straight in to the reception area. Some props and decor will be relocated at this time as well, but while things are getting settled you're welcome to partake in any of the available activities, explore the local area, grab some drinks at the venue's bar, visit with other guests, and otherwise prepare for dinner which will occur after photos are done.

Does your wedding have a theme?
Answer
Indeed! Our theme is Royal Gothic, with Black, Burgendy/Maroon, and Gold as the color scheme. Dressing the part is not required for guests, but we encourage it!

What time should I arrive?
Answer
The ceremony begins at 4pm sharp at the American Spirit Centre of Brighton. The building will not be accessible before then, but we ask that guests to arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony begins.

What should I do if I can't make it?
Answer
Life happens, we understand, and you will be missed. If you can't make it, please just RSVP "No" so we can plan accordingly, and do your best to inform us as soon as possible. If you are having trouble with the RSVP system, feel free to contact us via text/call. 517-672-9885

What's the parking situation?
Answer
Parking is free at the venue, American Spirit Centre of Brighton. They have a sizable lot outside the main entrance, we don't anticipate any issues.

Can I bring my small child?
Answer
This is an ADULT ONLY event. We recommend leaving your small child at home or with a babysitter. We recognize that this is not feasible for all of our guests, and out of respect for that we will not be kicking anyone out or denying access at the door, but our goal is to create a fun, relaxing environment so everyone can enjoy themselves. That being said, even though we love them to bits, please do not bring your children if possible.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Simple Answer: If you've RSVP'd with a +1, then yes. If you RSVP solo, then no. Due to catering, seating, and other guest-list related obstacles, we have to plan ahead. If we expect you to be alone, we only have enough food and drinks for you. So please, if you're bringing someone, reflect that in your RSVP.

I'm from out of town, what's the hotel situation?
Answer
We do not have any hotels blocked out. However, there are several hotels near the venue with a range of pricing options. Air BnB is also fairly common in the Brighton area, so finding lodging should not be difficult, though if you do run into trouble in this department, contact us and we will see what we can do to assist/accommodate.

Can I take photos of the wedding to share on social media?
Answer
Absolutely! We encourage all of our guests to take photos and videos throughout the night. We only ask that you tag us, or mark the posts with #BealOrNoBeal so that we can see them too!
