We first met in 2018 in a statistics class. Noel noticed Alissa's name on the board and found her Instagram to DM her using homework as an excuse to strike up a conversation. From there, we exchanged social media handles and started texting regularly. Our first date, on Valentine's Day at Baskin Robbins, marked the beginning of an inseparable bond. Throughout Noel's last semester at Smithson Valley we walked to our second and fifth periods together, growing closer with each step. We enjoyed attending prom twice, soccer games, movies, snacking at fruterias, and exploring Six Flags together. Our relationship deepened as Alissa graduated high school and entered college. In 2021, life surprised us with the news of our pregnancy. Our son, Thiago, became the center of our world, strengthening our bond further. Noel supported Alissa through college and cheered her on as she pursued her dream of becoming an elementary teacher. Knowing we wanted to spend our lives together, Noel began planning to propose. He carefully considered her desires for the perfect ring and proposal. On Valentine's Day, he asked her to marry him, and with overwhelming happiness, she said yes.
