Planes, Trains, and Automobiles
We hope you'll join us at the end of the world! Getting to Montauk is a bit of a journey, but rest assured the east end traffic will be light this time of year! If you are coming from outside of New York, our top recommendation would be to fly into MacArthur Airport in Islip, NY, and rent a car to drive to Montauk from there. Islip is in the middle of Long Island, so this option minimizes driving time. Connections to MacArthur are limited, so if your local airport does not fly to Islip, you can fly to any New York-area airport, or take Amtrak to Penn Station, and rent a car to drive from the city to Montauk. If you'd rather not drive at all (we get it!), you can catch the Hampton Jitney or Hampton Ambassador coach buses from various points in Manhattan.
