Question

What is the best way to get to the Cape?

Answer

If you are flying into Boston Logan, there is a bus that will take you to Barnstable or Hyannis, which is on the Cape and about 15-20 mins away from where the wedding events will take place. More info here: https://www.p-b.com/bus-routes/hyannis-to-logan-bus/. Renting a car or driving is a good option to consider. The cape is fairly spread out and most destinations are about 10-15 minutes apart. Rideshare is available, but there are fewer drivers are therefore wait times can be longer at times. You can also fly directly into Cape Cod Gateway Airport in Hyannis, but these flights may be significantly more expensive.

Question

What part of the Cape should I stay on?

Answer

The main wedding events will take place at: Sesuit Harbor Cafe - 357 Sesuit Neck Rd, Dennis, MA 02638 Michael and Ellen Davin's Home - 85 Shore Road Chatham, MA 02633 Pickleball at Brewster Tennis Courts - 384 Underpass Rd Brewster, MA 02631 We would recommend finding lodging in Brewster, Dennis, Chatham, or Orleans. When finding a hotel or airbnb, we would recommend cross-referencing with the addresses shared above.

Question

Will the welcome event have dinner?

Answer

Yes! We will have a pizza truck serving pizza, salads, and desserts. GF and DF will be available! We will also have beverages. Come hungry!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

There will be an option to note dietary restrictions when you RSVP. If you have any concerns or serious allergies, please reach out to us so we can ensure we have plenty of options for you.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception? What about for the welcome?

Answer

Yes! There will be parking at both.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

3:30! No later than 3:45. Bar will be open so come grab a drink before walking down to the beach.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

First and foremost, we want you to feel comfortable and like you can have fun! The dress code is cocktail, but feel free to wear something you feel like yourself in. Our venue is a lobster shack and we love "high low" vibes. Bright colors, fashion risks, and lobster themes are welcome. The most important part is shoes: the ceremony will be IN SAND and the reception will be in a boatyard (gravel). Erika may or may not be barefoot for the ceremony. If that's your journey, we salute you.

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Everything is planned to be outdoors, weather permitting. Our reception will be under a tent but with access to the waterfront to hang and enjoy. Late September on the Cape is generally the best of both worlds - warm during the day and chilly in the evening. We recommend bringing an extra layer for when the sun goes down.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We absolutely love your little ones! However, we’ve decided to keep the welcome dinner and wedding itself adults-only (minus our nieces and nephews) to ensure a relaxed and celebratory atmosphere for everyone. That said, we’d be delighted to see them the next morning at the pickleball hangout—it’ll be a fun and casual way to wrap up the weekend together!

Question

Will there be lobster?

Answer

Yes

For all the days along the way
