Shelby and Alissa met in fourth grade and became friends due to share interests in orchestra, health science, and being nerds. However, they became best friends when they shared room 218 in Underwood Dorm their freshman year in college. With many shared experiences, from the legendary TAMU wins over LSU and Bama, to finishing coding assignments while in the ER, to planning Alissa's surprise engagement, Shelby has many stories she could tell about the bride.

Sam and Alissa met the first day of middle school. With neighboring lockers and six out of their eight classes shared that year, it was clear that they were destined to be friends! With their shared love of board games, succulents, Bumdoodlers, and writing letters, they have stayed best friends since high school. Known to be the spontaneous and lively one of the "golden trio", Sam is the first to propose a trip or find a creative new way to stay connected. Forever the Skipper to Alissa's Gilligan!

Emily and Elijah were often mistaken for twins growing up, and their mutual talents for all things musical meant they remained close despite their age gap. Emily is married to Kaleb Smith and they have an adorable son named Elliott.

Given his tenure as a fraternity president at UT, Noah was the obvious choice to plan the bachelor party. He beats out Alissa on having known Elijah longer, though she'll be quick to remind you that it's only by about three hours.

While being married to his sister technically only makes Kaleb and Elijah brothers-in-law, it’s sometimes hard to tell which one of them was adopted into the family. Despite Alissa’s best efforts, Kaleb remains the only person able to read Elijah’s mind.

Considered by Elijah to be his “hottest and blondest friend,” John has two great loves: Jesus and dancing. He also holds the distinction of being a founding member of Elijah’s first band, the one-hit-wonder Christian rock parody powerhouse known as the Jonah Brothers.

Alissa’s brother-in-law and the life of any party, Austin knows what a good time looks like: sitting on the couch with your wife and coming up with nicknames for the cat. While Austin is legally the first son in the Beebe family, Elijah blazed the trail for him and is secretly grateful to already have another “not-blood” in his in-laws.
