Things To Do

If you’re spending some extra time in Omaha, here are a few local favorites to explore while you’re in town.
Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium

Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium

3701 South 10th Street, Omaha, NE 68107

We highly recommend visiting the Henry Doorly Zoo, ranked the #1 zoo in the nation! It’s one of our favorite spots, and we make a point to go at least once a year. Plan for plenty of walking, about two miles if you want to see it all! Fun fact: You can see Chanler's work from the elephant exhibit!

Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge

Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge

705 Riverfront Drive, Omaha, NE 68102

If you’re looking for a fun stop, check out the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge! The bridge spans the Missouri River and connects Nebraska to Iowa. Right in the middle, the state line is marked so you can stand in both states at once, a perfect photo opportunity! It’s especially beautiful at night when the bridge lights up in vibrant colors. And keep an eye out on the Omaha side… you might just run into Omar the Troll hiding near the base of the bridge!

The Old Market

The Old Market

Omaha, NE 68102

Check out the Old Market while you're here! The area is filled with great restaurants, fun bars, and even shops! A few of our favorite spots are Gather, Billy Frogg's (arcade games in the basement!), and Laka Lono Rum Club!

Kiewit Luminarium

Kiewit Luminarium

345 Riverfront Drive, Omaha, NE 68102

The Kiewit Luminarium is fun for all ages! Check out this new spot in Omaha!
