Question

What is the weather going to be like?

Answer

While the weather predictions have been changing daily, it looks like there is a chance that our wedding day will also be the first snowfall of the season. As all wedding day events will be outside, please pack accordingly and feel free to change after the reception into your warm and comfy clothes. We'll have a bonfire and heaters at the wedding, and also will expect to see everyone on the dance floor to keep warm!

What is the attire for the wedding?

Answer

We want you to feel comfortable in whatever you choose to wear! For those that want to know what everyone else is wearing before they pick an outfit, our suggestion is "Wedding Casual" : dress pants and shirt for him; dress, skirt & blouse or dress pants & blouse for her. The wedding will take place in the backyard of the Ledum's lake house, and the adjoining lot next door. We recommend flat shoes, as you will be walking in the grass and a coat with the new weather predictions. You are more than welcome to change after the ceremony if you wish to be more comfortable.

Where is the closest airport?

Answer

Glacier Park International Airport is located in Kalispell, MT, and is approximately 40 minutes from the wedding venue.

When should I fly in?

Answer

We have lots of fun activities for you to participate in on Friday, so if your schedule allows, we recommend getting in sometime on Thursday. However, if your schedule doesn't allow for that, Friday is perfectly fine. Pick-up times and locations for each event are listed on the "Schedule" tab, so you can see which ones you are able to participate in based on your flight times.

Should I rent a car?

Answer

We are arranging group transportation for all of the main events. Transportation will be available from the Danielson Airbnb, Red Lion Hotel, and McGregor Lake Resort. If you choose to stay elsewhere, you will be responsible for getting to one of the pick-up zones if you wish to take advantage of group transportation.

Is the venue easy to find?

Answer

We are arranging group transportation, so most of you shouldn't need to worry about navigating the route to the venue. However, there will be signs along the gravel road once you turn off the highway, and we will provide a map on the "Travel" tab just in case your reception is spotty.

May I bring my child(ren)?

Answer

This wedding will be taking place by a lake with open access that will not be supervised. It will also be a very small, intimate wedding. Due to both of these facts, we kindly ask that you please refrain from bringing children.

Is there a good time to explore Montana on my own?

Answer

The wedding is the only activity scheduled for Saturday. Please feel free to take advantage of the morning and early afternoon to explore at your leisure. If you are in need of a suggestion, Whitefish is small resort town located approximately 30 minutes from Kalispell.

What should I plan to pay for?

Answer

We will provide lunch for those participating in the Glacier Park Excursion on Saturday, as well as dinner Friday night and drinks & dinner at the wedding on Saturday. For those of you staying at the Red Lion Hotel, breakfast is included in the price of your stay. We will have servers at the Friday evening dinner and bartenders at the wedding. We kindly ask you to consider cash for tip money in appreciation for their services. Anything beyond the scope listed above (additional meals, personal outings around town, transportation outside of the group transportation) would be items to consider as additional expenses.
