Denver - Boulder transportation
Renting a car is the easiest way to get to Boulder and to travel into the mountains during your stay. Traffic from Denver International Airport Denver to Boulder can be a pain! Typically, it's about 45 minutes to an hour. There is a toll road, E-470, that is marginally faster. If you prefer not to rent a car, there is a very convenient bus from DIA to downtown Boulder. Lightrail is also an option from the airport to downtown Denver. Lots of options!

Boulder is a small and walkable city. Lyft and Uber should be plentiful and the bus system is amazing.
