In early March 2020, Steve was visiting Alison in Boston to celebrate her birthday and his successful dissertation defense when the city shut down. Thinking it would just be a week or two, Alison flew back to Michigan with Steve to wait out the worst of it. After five months living blissfully in the tiny house Steve was renting from his brother in Ann Arbor, they joined their lives by moving together to Maryland. Now it’s time to make it official!
