What do I wear?

Answer

This is a semi-formal event. We aren't that picky, just no shorts, jeans, or dad sandals. For an idea, here’s a range: ladies can wear anything from a dressed-up sun dress to a cocktail dress, and guys can wear anything from a dress shirt and pants to a suit. You can’t go wrong! The weather in Florida in February will be sunny, mid to low 70s, so dress accordingly. Bring a jacket in case it gets chilly at night.

What will we have for dinner?

Answer

We will have meatballs and marinara, garlic knots, and charcuterie boards for appetizers at the bar during social hour. We will also have a boujee s'mores table around the fire pit throughout the duration of the wedding after the ceremony. For the main meal, we will be having italian food catered, with a variety selection to choose from! Don't forget to RSVP and let us know if you have any food allergies or restrictions when you do. There will also be a variety of cold beverages to choose from.

What things will there be to do at social hour?

Answer

At social hour, we will have corn-hole in the grass. We will also be having appetizers, and a s’mores table will be open around the fire throughout the duration of the wedding.

Will there be a reception in Minnesota as well?

Answer

Yes! We will have a separate reception some time after the main wedding (whenever the snow melts) in Minnesota so we can celebrate with those family and friends who could not make the trip to Florida. Invites and details for that event will be provided at a later date. Although we would love for you to make it to the main celebration, we completely understand and would love to see you at the Minnesota reception.

Are kids allowed?

Answer

Absolutely! We would love for you to bring your kiddos along to our wedding. We will have plenty of meal options and fun things for them to do!

What accomodations are there for nursing mothers?

Answer

If you are a nursing mother, have a diaper to change, or a little one who needs a nap, you may use the house for those reasons only. Please keep in mind that due to our venue's policies, nobody outside of this exception (unless an understandable emergency) will be allowed to go inside the house and use it for any other purpose.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

We will not be having alcohol at our wedding for personal reasons. We kindly ask that you do not bring any alcohol of your own.

Is smoking/vaping allowed?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from smoking or vaping during the duration of our wedding. If you do need to smoke/vape, there are designated areas at the venue.
