Getting To and From the Wedding for Out of Town Guests

If you are not planning to rent a car, we recommend taking Uber or Lyft to and from the airport, wedding and other events. They are reliable and available during all hours of the day or night. Depending on where you are staying, your accommodation may offer a free shuttle.

Flight

MCI- Kansas City

We recommend that you fly into MCI, Kansas City International Airport. Airlines available are: Air Canada, Air France, Alaska, Allegiant, American, Delta, Frontier, Southwest, Spirit, and United. The airport is about a 25 minute drive from downtown Kansas City, and is easy to navigate, as it is not very large. You can take a Lyft or Uber from the airport for less than $35 most of the time. House Or Rental

Booking a Hotel or Air BnB

If you are planning to book a hotel or Air Bnb, we suggest that you do it ASAP. It seems like the weekend of May 14 is a popular one for traveling to KC, and we've had trouble reserving large blocks of rooms at many hotels. However, there are plenty of affordable hotels in the city (just not large groups of rooms), as well as great Air BnB locations. Here are a few neighborhoods that we recommend in Kansas City (they are all relatively close to our building and the venue) : Crossroads Hyde Park Westport West Side Crown Center Country Club Plaza If you are not sure where to book your accommodations, look for something in between our building and reception venue, or near either one. It's about a 12 minute drive from our building to the reception, and it rarely takes more than 20 minutes to get from any part of Kansas City to another.
