Hi! We're so happy you're able to come! We recommend flying into Northwest Florida Beach (ECP) in Panama City Beach but Destin and Pensacola are other good options.
We'll be staying on the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort located in Miramar Beach, roughly a 45 minute drive from Panama City Beach. There are Ubers widely available in this area but a little less so on Sandestin so take this into consideration when deciding on a rental car vs Uber.
Sandestin is a large resort with both beach front and bay front properties, a variety of restaurants, shopping, golfing, fishing and more. There are a plethora of lodging options onsite ranging from hotels to AirBnB. If looking at staying here, there is a free shuttle that operates around the resort. If you book an AirBnB, look into getting one with a golf cart as that is the primary mode of transportation around the resort.
If you'd rather stay outside of Sandestin, Miramar Beach to Panama City Beach are all wonderful options!
