Plantation Walk
Restaurants and shops across the street from the church where we are getting married! Some of our favorite restaurants in this area include Taco Craft, Ford's Garage, and Crack'd Kitchen.
Restaurants
PLANTATION: - Tap 42 - Alison's favorite restaurant only 10-15 minutes away from the wedding - Kaluz - Tyler's favorite restaurant about 5 minutes from the wedding - Flannigans - a South Florida favorite. FORT LAUDERDALE: - Coconuts - a Fort Lauderdale favorite! Located in Fort Lauderdale Beach on the water, there isn't anything we've tried that we haven't enjoyed from Coconuts. - Rocco's Tacos - another Fort Lauderdale favorite, located on Las Olas, they make guacamole at your table!
The Beach
South Florida is home to some amazing beaches! Alison prefers Dania Beach due to it being less busy than other beaches in the area. A couple of miles south is Hollywood Beach, which is home to more restaurants and the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. There are more beaches in the area, but these are our favorites! *Please note that while the actual beach has no cost, you do have to pay for parking at every beach in South Florida.
Las Olas Boulevard
Las Olas is kind of like Fort Lauderdale's "Main Street." There are a bunch of restaurants and shops for people to walk around and enjoy.
Water Taxi
The water taxi is a good way to experience different places in the Fort Lauderdale area! You can hop on/hop off with a day or evening pass. A day pass (10AM - 10PM) is $38 and an evening pass (5PM - 10PM) is $25. It is also fun to ride and see all of the nicer houses on the river!
