The Beach

South Florida is home to some amazing beaches! Alison prefers Dania Beach due to it being less busy than other beaches in the area, but there aren't many options for food at that beach. A couple of miles south is Hollywood Beach, which is home to more restaurants and the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk. There are more beaches in the area, but these are our favorites!

Las Olas Boulevard

Las Olas is kind of like Fort Lauderdale's "Main Street." There are a bunch of restaurants and shops for people to walk around and enjoy.

Plantation Walk

Restaurants and shops across the street from the church where we are getting married!

Hugh Taylor Birch State Park

Hugh Taylor Birch is a great park in Fort Lauderdale with beach access! Additionally, you can rent bikes, kayaks, canoes, and paddleboards.

Everglades Holiday Park

Water Taxi

The water taxi is a good way to experience different places in the Fort Lauderdale area! You can hop on/hop off with a day or evening pass. It is also fun to just ride and see the city from the water.
