We matched on bumble, chatted for a bit, and went on our first date on September 8th, 2023. Both of us were immediately attracted to each other, but it was really the sense of comfort and calm we felt in each others presence. We vibed on our shared taste in music, sending each other songs on Spotify, even before we met. We found it easy to be together, easy to open up, and easy to be who we are. For both of us, this is who we have been waiting for. There is something called the invisible string theory - two people who are meant for each other will meet at the perfect time. The string may tangle but it will keep the two connected and never break, true love will find its way. They may have crossed paths or been in the same place at the same time before actually meeting, then they meet and everything works out exactly how it was supposed to. We found this to describe our story; discovering so many commonalities between us. We know there were moments we must have been in the same place at the same time. Tony lived in Laguna Beach from 2005 to 2011, where Alison grew up. They found out that Tony lived on Anita St for a few years, a few blocks from Cress St, where Alison grew up; at the same time that Alison moved home after college. At the time, both of them spent many nights out in Laguna, from Ocean Avenue to the Saloon to the infamous "Dirty Bird.” Beyond that, Tony went to Venado Middle School in Irvine, at the same time that Alison's dad taught there. Tony also has friends that had Alison's mom as a high school teacher. We feel like these synchronicities are messages from the universe that we are meant to be. There is truly something special to meeting your person later in life. We both went through our struggles, our relationships that weren't right, our single lives, and our growth. Then we met and it was like a breath of fresh calm air. When you know, you know. Something we only understood until meeting each other. We are both so excited to continue our journey together and start our lives as husband and wife!
