The small town of Sayulita is 28 miles North of the airport, about a 45-60 minute ride
You can fly directly into Puerto Vallerta International Airport
Upon arrival, we recommend taking a taxi or pre-arranged shuttle to your rental in Sayulita. Uber and Lyft are not an option at the PVR airport
Renting a car is not necessary, and you will have a hard time parking a car in Sayulita
Once you get to Sayulita you can walk or rent a golf cart to get around
To take a taxi from PVR Airport: Walk outside the airport and ask for the taxi line, line up
Go the Thomas and Alison way: exit the airport and go left through the giant crowd of people. Stay on the sidewalk and head towards the main street. Take the footbridge over the busy Tepic - Puerto Vallarta road then flag down a taxi. It should cost $40-$70 USD, negotiate price and plan to pay in cash.
