It all started with a simple high school crush. Boy sees girl, boy thinks girl is cute. Girl is oblivious to boy. Fast forward a couple of years to the end of senior year. Mutual friends invite boy and girl to hang out. Girl sees boy, girl thinks boy is cute. Boy is oblivious to this fact. After graduation, girl's friend has a birthday party and they invite boy and friends. Girl starts dancing with friend and boy definitely checks girl out (he admitted to staring at her butt months later). Girl makes first move and calls boy out over social media platform for not adding her back on another social media platform. Boy adds girl back and they start chatting away. Boy then asks for girl's number since texting is an easier form of communication. Girl says, sure and they begin to text nonstop for days. Boy and girl plan an evening out and chose a local park with a pond in the center. They walked around for hours and awkwardly bumped hands (on purpose) to let the other know they wanted to hold hands. Boy's big hand grabbed girl's small hand and they both smiled. They have a habit of staying way past the park's "closing time". A few nights later, boy and girl are back at the park past closing time, of course. The sprinklers come on and boy tries shoving girl into the water. Girl grabs boy's hand and boy pulls her in and they share their first kiss under the street lamp. After a couple weeks since their first hang out, boy makes the decision to ask girl to be boy's girlfriend. Girl obviously says yes. They both have lots of fun and grow very close. Girl realizes she has deep feelings for boy and boy can tell. Boy feels them too. Boy makes girl say it first and boy says it back. After a year, there are some rough patches and girl breaks up with boy for not even 48 hours. Girl realizes girl is stupid and calls boy and they get back together and are happier than ever. Almost 2 1/2 years, an apartment and 2 cats later, boy asks girl to marry boy. Girl, of course, says...YES!
