Upon receiving the invitation, you can visit the 'RSVP' tab on our wedding website and answer the required questions.
We invite our guests to dress in black tie optional attire. Tuxedos and evening gowns are welcome but not required or expected - suits and cocktail dresses are perfectly appropriate. Most importantly, we want our guests to feel their best as we celebrate together.
The ceremony will begin promptly at 1pm. We advise you to arrive approximately 15 minutes early to find seats in the church.
The ceremony is in Lincoln Park and the cocktail hour and reception are in West Loop. The locations are approximately 20 - 30 minutes apart by car, traffic dependent. The best way to travel between the church and reception venue is by car or rideshare services.
For the ceremony, there is a small parking lot across from the church. Street parking is an option for overflow, though availability may be limited nearest the church. For the reception, valet parking will be available at the Dalcy.
We do have a 'Catholic gap' of about 3 hours between the end of the ceremony and beginning of cocktail hour. This time should be used for guests to travel between the venues, which is approximately 20 - 30 minutes, traffic dependent. With the remaining time, it would be a great opportunity to freshen up in the hotel, enjoy refreshments near our reception venue in the West Loop/Fulton Market area, or explore all that downtown Chicago has to offer.
The ceremony will take place inside the church, the cocktail hour will take place in an indoor/outdoor patio setting (weather dependent), and the reception will be held indoors.
Both Chicago O'hare and Chicago Midway are convenient options, approximately 12 - 18 miles from downtown Chicago.
Chicago has an abundance of great hotels and other options. For more convenient options, please see the 'Travel' tab for information about our hotel room blocks. If blocks are sold out, please let the bride and groom know.
