We have recently changed our wedding date due to the current pandemic. We feel this change will allow us to safely and comfortably celebrate our marriage with our friends and family - and also dance the night away without social distancing. We hope you can make our new date!
Robert first laid eyes on Alison as freshmen at Colorado State University. He then continued to roll his eyes at her for 6 months until they started to understand one another. As track and field teammates, they had the privilege/were forced to spend lots of time together during their four years at CSU (5 years for Robert). Their real relationship started during Alison's senior year at New Belgium Brewery, when Robert found out that Alison was on the market. That night, you couldn't find Robert more than two feet away from Alison. After this night, they began to spend more and more time together, realizing that this could be something special. They decided to continue their relationship as Alison left to go to physical therapy school at Regis University and Robert went to work for Century Communities in Arvada. Due to Regis' clinical requirements, they were forced to spend the first three years of their relationship at a distance; while Alison bounced between Denver, Loveland, Seattle, and Grand Junction. However, she was able to live with Lane and Sarah Wasinger in Loveland, and the Miller family in Seattle, keeping Robert close at heart (he may have planned this to ensure Alison stuck around). Eventually the clinicals ended, and Alison started her career as a full time doctor...of physical therapy. This enabled Alison and Robert to start their new life together in Denver when they moved into their first home in March 2018.
