Our Forever Starts here

We first met through our cousins, Hazel & Melvyn’s wedding (and no, we’re not related lol). Our families became close during their wedding, and somewhere along the way, so did we. At first, we were just friends. We spent so much time together — hanging out at RJ’s house with his cousins Chris and Brian — but deep down, I always had a feeling RJ liked me a little more than a friend. Eventually, RJ moved to San Diego for a new job, and somehow life happened and we stopped talking for about a year. Then one random day, RJ messaged me out of nowhere asking to hang out. The very next morning, he took me out to breakfast, and suddenly everything felt different. Even though we had known each other for years, I felt so shy around him, almost like we were meeting for the first time all over again. The next day, he asked me to hang out again, and that feeling only grew stronger. What once felt like friendship was slowly turning into something more. Fast forward 10 years, and now here we are — getting married and starting forever together.
