FAQs

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately, as much as we’d love to invite all of our friends’ and family’s children, we can only accommodate a few close family children. We hope that you will still be able to join us on our special day.

Question

How the heck do you pronounce your names?

Answer

Bauk: Bow-k, like the bow of a ship MacLeod: Muh-cloud, like the clouds in the sky

Question

How long does it take to get to places on the Cape?

Answer

When coming in from off-Cape or any of the airports, please be aware that traffic getting across the bridge to Cape Cod can be a challenge. Consider planning for some extra travel time or traveling at off-peak hours. There are only two bridges (Sagamore and Bourne), and they tend to back up as high season is upon us in the summer months. Other places on the Cape are a bit further to get to than many people expect. Provincetown is at the tip of the Cape and is about another 1.5 hour drive beyond Falmouth without traffic. Other popular towns like Chatham are about an hour.

Question

What is the best airport to fly into?

Answer

We recommend Boston-Logan International Airport as the most convenient gateway for your travel. Rental cars and shuttles are readily available from Logan to Falmouth, making your journey smooth and straightforward. While Rhode Island-T.F. Green International Airport is also a similar distance away, it may offer fewer transportation options to and from Falmouth.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
