What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts promptly at 5pm. So we suggest 15 minutes before, at 4:45pm.

Is there a dress code?

Cocktail / dressy casual.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We have hotel blocks at the Best Western Marina Shores and DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Doheny Beach - Dana Point. You can find the special booking links on the "Travel" page of this website, or mention "Gately/Messinger" to either hotel over the phone. If not, other hotels in the area are the Dana Point Marina Inn (close to venue, budget) and the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort & Spa (close to venue, luxurious). Or wherever you find!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! There should be plenty of parking at the the Yacht Club, or take a quick Uber over from the hotel blocks :)

Is the bar hosted?

Answer

We're contributing a specific amount toward the alcohol tab. Once we hit that amount, it'll turn to a cash bar.
