What is there to do in the area if I get there early?

There are so many things to do, it is difficult to list. But here are a few things: Take a Scenic Drive along Columbia River Gorge. The Highway was the first US highway designated for scenic touring. Be sure to stop at the numerous waterfalls that are a short walk from the parking lots. Take a hike. There are numerous trails, some are even close to the Cooper Spur Resort. The resort provides a complimentary continental breakfast for people staying on site.

Is the wedding and reception outdoors?
Answer
Yes, they both are outdoors. They will be on grassy areas, so make sure to wear appropriate shoes. The plan is to have the ceremony in a meadow about one quarter mile from the reception, which will be at the resort. Please let us know if you cannot make the walk and we will try to make arrangements for a ride. If there is cold or wet weather, the reception area will be protected.

When is check out time?

We all will need to check out by 11AM on Saturday, help yourself to the complimentary breakfast offered by the resort, then make sure to drop by the Log Home to say goodbye and have a cup of coffee and one last bite before you leave!

When does the party end?

Everyone is invited for one last snack and a cup of coffee/tea at the Log Home between 9 AM and 10 AM. Please come to visit and say goodbye!
