Barnhouse Brewery
Our goals are simple ones: Brew great beer that people like, meet and get to know the people that drink your beer, use local ingredients when possible, and provide a setting that people will enjoy and want to come back to again. To meet these goals, we brew small, handcrafted batches supporting the craft beer enthusiast and regional community. We invite you to our farm brewery and tasting room to enjoy these great beers.
Morven Park
Morven Park was once the home of Virginia governor, Westmoreland Davis, and his wife Marguerite. More than 70 years after his death, the accomplishments and ideals of Gov. Davis still resonate within the 1,000 acres of this one-of-a-kind place. Each year 150,000 people visit the Park, whether participating in its competitive equestrian events, touring its three museums, attending educational and recreational programs, or just enjoying the beauty of the woodlands, mountainous ridge, historic buildings, and formal gardens. Starting September 1st, the museums will be open to the public Saturdays and Sundays 12:00 - 5:00, with the last tour starting at 4:00 pm. The historic gardens, Turkey Hill Farm, hiking trails, equestrian center and athletic complex are open every day.
Hidden Brook Winery
Hidden Brook's approach to crafting our wines, especially our Reds, is by taking the Italian approach. Overall, our Reds are softer in tannins and exhibit more fruit forward qualities, all while remaining classically dry. Our wine making goal is to create and craft wines that anyone can enjoy, so you can be sure your trip to Hidden Brook will include a diverse wine line up, including Whites and Reds.
