In May, Jeremy met with Alison's father, Joseph, to officially ask him for his daughter's hand in marriage. They crafted a seamless plan that led to the top of Pikes Peak under the guise that Joseph wanted to spend time with the family. Ali asked Jeremy "if he could take a day off work to go with them." Ali was oblivious to the plans that were already in motion. After getting to a proposal-worthy spot, Jeremy and Ali climbed to a ledge with a beautiful view and began to pose for photos. After a few images, Jeremy said, "We're only missing one thing," Ali turned her back, saying, "Awe," thinking that Jeremy was teasing her, only to turn around to see him down on one knee. The first words out of her mouth weren't "Yes!" but "Are you serious!?" Jeremy had jokingly got down on one knee a once or twice before and she was now in complete shock! She then excitedly said... "YES!"
