Shuttle

Shuttle from Best Western Plus Windjammer Inn

September 3, 2023 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm

We have a shuttle leaving the Best Western at 3:00pm to bring our guests to The Old Lantern Barn where the wedding and reception will take place. It is about a 30 minute ride. At the end of the night, the shuttle will leave from The Old Lantern at 11:05pm and drop off at the Best Western. Any of our guests who want to utilize the shuttle may park at the Best Western. Additionally, guests who drive to The Old Lantern are welcome to leave a vehicle there overnight, take the shuttle back after the reception, and pick your vehicle up the next day. Please, don't drink and drive!

A shuttle will run to and from our venue from this location on the day of the wedding. The window to book rooms in our hotel block has closed, but if you are still in need of accommodations, let us know so we can see if the hotel can accommodate you. Reservations are strongly recommended if you plan to dine at The Windjammer restaurant on site during your stay. This hotel is in the heart of downtown Burlington, within walking distance of Church Street and the Lake Champlain waterfront. Hotel Vermont is about 30 minutes from our venue and is a great option if you are looking for an upscale stay.

Travel Note

Mount Philo State Park

Mount Philo State Park would be a great place to camp if you are looking for a budget friendly option in the area. This park is a local favorite and just 5 miles from our venue. It has gorgeous views of Lake Champlain and the Adirondacks if you take the short hike or drive up the mountain. Book now if you plan to stay here, this is a small park and will book up well in advance of the holiday weekend.
