Arcata has an Airport!

There is a small airport that has direct flights from LAX and San Francisco on United Airlines. Arcata is a 12 hour drive from Los Angeles.... it's a great way to see all of California, although it is a LONG drive and has windy stretches (through the Redwoods). We recommend renting a car at the airport. Unless you plan on hanging out in Arcata only.
