FAQs

Question

Where is this wedding happening?

Answer

We are happy to have both the ceremony and the reception at the same location! We will be having it at the Port Orange Lakeside Community Center. If you have any issues finding the location please feel free to reach out to Tony, Alisha or Kim Pomar.

Question

How do we RSVP?

Answer

The RSVP process is super easy with this awesome website. Whether you are excited to join or life just wont allow you to join, you can let us know. Located at the top of this page there is an RSVP tab where you can let us know either way. We will turn off RSVP on October 6th. If you didnt RSVP by October 6th, 2023, we look forward to sharing our special day via social media posts and you will be missed.

Question

When should I arrive to the wedding?

Answer

We plan to start promptly at 4:00pm. The nearby middle school will release shortly after and we would like to be done with our ceremony before they start walking by. You are welcome to arrive up to 30 minutes early to get a seat, and there is some area along the building to avoid the direct sun.

Question

Will Dinner be served?

Answer

We are happy to say we have Brian's Bar-B-Q. We are unable to accommodate special diets but welcome you to bring food if needed for yourself or your children and note in your RSVP that you will bring your own food.

Question

Will Drinks (the adult kind) be available at the wedding?

Answer

Yes, we welcome everyone over 21 to enjoy a few drinks provided by us. We only ask that you arrange for a safe ride home and to stay within your limits to enjoy this very special day with us.

Question

Do you have a Registry?

Answer

Our life journey included buying a home before wedding expenses. We will be making a registry for a few things but since we've been together quite a while, with all our pots and pans (omg and cutting boards) and we don't need homely gifts, we have another plan. We would love to share some memories traveling or make our home more our own, so if you would like to send a gift our way, a donation to our lives together would really make our day! Please do not use this website to send gifts as many brides have warned gifts never arrive.

Question

Who is welcome?

Answer

We have included everyone who is invited on your RSVP in the RSVP tab. If you have any questions or believe we missed someone in your family, please reach out to Tony, Alisha or Kim Pomar.

Question

What Days will the Bride and Groom have off work?

Answer

We will both take Wednesday November 8th, Thursday November 9th off and Friday November 10th off. We both are off all weekend and we will have the two girls.

Question

What is the best way to get to the venue?

Answer

The best way to get to our Venue is by car. Parking is Free and there is plenty of parking.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The plan is to have our Ceremony outside on a grass lawn and our reception indoors (AC IN FLORIDA!)

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The Bride will be dressed in White. DON'T WEAR WHITE TO A WEDDING! Wear your best church style clothes, Causal Wedding Dress. Clothing that is comfortable and easy to dance in. Please factor in Florida heat.
