What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00pm at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Longmont. We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes early to allow time for parking and seating.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Ceremony - Parking is available in the church parking lot, with additional street parking nearby if the lot fills up. Reception - Downtown Longmont has plenty of free street and public parking within a few blocks of the venue. Nearby public parking options include: 300 West Parking Lot on Coffman Street The Spoke on Coffman public parking garage (about a 5-minute walk) Street parking throughout the downtown area

What should I expect at a Catholic wedding ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and will follow the traditions of a Catholic wedding Mass. The ceremony will last about one hour and will include readings, prayers, and the exchange of our vows. During the Mass, there will be times when guests may be invited to stand, sit, or kneel, which will be guided by the priest and the congregation. Guests are welcome to participate as they feel comfortable. Holy Communion will be offered during the ceremony. In the Catholic tradition, Communion is reserved for practicing Catholics, but all guests are warmly invited to remain seated and share in the moment of reflection. We are so grateful to have friends and family of all backgrounds joining us to celebrate this special day!

The reception will take place at The St. Vrain located at 635 3rd Ave, Longmont, CO 80501, just a short drive from the church.

Answer

Please join us for cocktail hour immediately following the ceremony at The St. Vrain.

Is transportation provided between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Both venues are located in Longmont and are a short drive apart. Guests may drive directly from the ceremony to the reception.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal. We encourage guests to dress up for the occasion, but most importantly wear something that makes you feel comfortable and your best.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

We’d love to celebrate with everyone, but we’re only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. You’ll see your included guests when you go to RSVP on our website.
