Our paths crossed at Hillsborough Community College. Alisha came late to class one day and it just so happened that the only empty seat was next to Michael. Michael jokingly believes that Alisha actually chose that seat, but nevertheless this led to conversation, becoming lab partners, and to the beginning of a never-ending playful and competitive friendship. After multiple invites to lunch, late study hours, Michael's embarrassing dance moves, sooner or later we were both head over heels.

A spontaneous trip to Peru made for a once-in-a-lifetime, opportunistic place to propose! We love to travel, so Michael found a way to sneak the ring from Florida, through El Salvador and Ecuador, and present it at the forefront of Machu Picchu! A beautiful and symbolic way for both of us to commit to each other and also to a lifetime of adventures and new experiences!
