FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We encourage our guests to feel comfortable while still dressing nicely for the occasion.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We have chosen to keep our wedding primarily adults-only, with the exception of immediate family and a few special little ones included on invitations. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We would love to celebrate with everyone, but due to venue capacity, we can only accommodate the guests listed on each invitation. If you have been given a plus-one, it will be indicated on your invitation and RSVP. If you are unsure, please text Cole or Alisha to confirm.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

No later than August 30th.

Question

Do I need to bring a gift?

Answer

Your presence is truly the best gift! If you’d like to give something extra, we’re happily accepting contributions to our honeymoon fund —Venmo (sorensenhoneymoonfund)

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We’ll be saying “I do” outside, then heading indoors for the reception, dinner, and dancing!

Question

What will the weather be like in October?

Answer

October is one of the prettiest times of year in Utah! We’re planning for a beautiful outdoor ceremony with mild temperatures, but a light jacket for the evening is never a bad idea.

Question

Will dinner be served?

Answer

Yes — dinner, drinks, and desserts are all part of the celebration.

Question

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Parking at the venue is limited, but additional parking is available at Murray Park, just a short walk away. The hotels listed on our website are all within walking distance of the venue, making it easy to enjoy the evening without worrying about transportation. Most importantly, we want all of our guests to get home safely. If you plan on drinking, please plan accordingly and use a rideshare service such as Uber or Lyft. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

What if I received a save the date but not a formal invitation?

Answer

The more we planned this next chapter together, the more important it became for us to create an intimate celebration with those who have been closest to our journey. While we originally sent save the dates to a larger group early in the planning process, formal invitations will reflect our final guest list due to venue capacity. Thank you for your understanding and support.
