As much as we’d love to celebrate with everyone, we’ve chosen to keep our wedding a more intimate gathering with just our closest loved ones. Please refer to your Save the Date to see who’s invited, and your name(s) will be shown when you RSVP via our wedding website. Thank you so much for understanding and supporting our wishes for a more personal celebration.
While we love your little ones, our ceremony and reception will be adults-only due to the setting and celebration style unless otherwise stated on your personal invitation. That said, we’d be thrilled to have them join us at our next-day gathering, where everyone, big and small, is welcome to celebrate together.
We’d love our guests to bring a splash of colour to celebrate with us! Think formal glam with a spring twist, suits and dress shirts for the guys, and midi to floor-length dresses for the ladies. Cocktail, formal, or black tie optional all work, just dress to impress in bright, colourful, spring-inspired looks. Since part of the day will be outdoors, we recommend block heels, wedges, or flats over stilettos. For anyone wanting a little colour inspiration, our wedding palette blends romantic pinks (berry, blush, burgundy) with soft, earthy greens (sage, olive, mossy) and deep teal accents.
Rippon Winery is just 10 minutes from central Wanaka. On-site parking is limited, so we recommend carpooling or using a rideshare/taxi where possible. Detailed directions and parking information will be updated on the website closer to the wedding day, so you’ll have everything you need to arrive smoothly and stress-free.

We’re having an unplugged ceremony; we’d love for you to enjoy the moment and be present with us. Don’t worry about missing a thing, our professional photographer will capture all the special memories!
March in Wanaka is typically warm and sunny with temperatures around 20–25°C during the day and cooler evenings. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside and we will move indoors for the reception during the evening.
