Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Alisa Kutsina and Samuel Waddell
Our first four dates, stitched into the city that brought us together. Looking for something to do? See the places and experiences that started our journey.

First Date: Central Park

40°46'04.8"N 73°58'37.6"W, New York, NY

We had our first date in Central Park (to be exact 40°46'04.8"N 73°58'37.6"W). It was November 7th, 2020. It was incredibly warm outside and the vibes were immaculate. On the way home from the date Sam had texted Alisa a picture of the Brooklyn Bridge as he was biking over it, and they knew there would be a second! Do it like us and bring some canned Rosé :)

Second Date: The Uncommons

230 Thompson Street, New York, NY 10012

On our second date, we went to The Uncommons game café near Washington Square Park. It was a great opportunity for Alisa to show Sam she can beat him at most games. If you have a couple of hours, stop by, grab a pastry and a coffee (or a drink) they serve inside, and pick one of the many games they provide from the shelves.

Third Date: Tomi Jazz

239 East 53rd Street, New York, NY 10022

This place is the best! Our 3rd date was at Tomi Jazz. We waited in line for 2 hours outside, but it was worth every minute of it. It is a Japanese food & live jazz bar in a cozy setting with a speakeasy vibe. They don't take reservations so get here at 5pm sharp when they open! Still one of our favorite places in the city!

Domino Park

15 River Street, Williamsburg, NY 11249

Our fourth date we finally ventured into the best borough which is Brooklyn. We started the date at Domino Park and just walked along the water during sunset. We sat on a bench and talked for hours. For those of you that make it out here, we recommend grabbing a drink at Other Half Brewery, and if you're looking for bite to eat check out Robertas right next door.
