Flight
Springfield-Branson National Airport has daily direct flights to/from all of the major hubs, including - Chicago, Dallas, and Denver. There are also a number of other cities with direct flights that are not offered daily if you'd like to stay in the area a little longer :)
Flight
Branson, Missouri is a short 45-minute drive to Springfield. This small, locally owned airport is somewhat new and depending on the season will have one or two flights daily. It is best to look at their website and the carrier options available. I (Alisa) have flown out of Branson direct to Dallas and Denver, in the recent past (approx. 2 & 3 years ago).

House Or Rental
We would highly recommend checking out AirBnB or VRBO websites for rental homes, lofts, townhouses, etc. You'll want to try to stay in the southwest side of town, as that is where all of the wedding festivities will take place, but you can get from location A to location B within about 20 minutes. Not only are there beautiful rental homes in Springfield, but if you are looking to stay a little longer, you might want to look at Branson or even Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Just keep in mind both of these areas are in more hilly terrain and if the weather gets snowy or icy, they will shut down roads because they become impassable. :)
Rental Car
The Springfield-Branson National Airport has all major car rental company options....many of these companies also have locations outside the airport (and sometimes run better rates).
Train
Although we've never been on the Amtrak, it is on my bucket list. I would suggest you book to Kansas City, Warrensburg, or St. Louis. Travel times from these three locations are as follows: KC- 3 hrs; Warrensburg - 2.5 hrs; STL - 3 hrs. You'll need to rent a car to travel the rest of the way to Springfield. Holler if you have questions...otherwise, live on the wild side and just explore.
