The bride & groom met on July 7th, 2017 on an E-Z Park shuttle at George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Houston. Alisa had been persuaded two nights prior to join her friends Kiki and Candace on a last-minute trip to Denver, Colorado. Last minute trip meant = Spirit Airlines. She was already on the shuttle when it stopped at a brown Chevrolet Venture minivan that Blake and three of his friends (Bradley, Brian, and Travis) stepped out of to embark on a boy’s trip to the Los Angeles with nothing but themselves and a backpack each. They were also flying Spirit Airlines. The boys were seasoned on Spirit but it was Alisa’s first time. They joked about the (lack of) leg room and likelihood of making it to your destination with your bag. After clearing security at the airport, Alisa [being there solo] asked if she could join the group for lunch. Blake & Co. accepted. Four house margaritas and one Don Julio margarita later, Brian suggested for Blake to get Alisa’s number.
