Maid of Honor
Besties since 7 years old! They grew up in the same city, went to UW together and still make time today to play Stardew Valley or just catch up with some good food.
Best Man
Kyle met Chris in the Husky Marching Band their freshman year at UW in 2015. Although Chris was in the Snare section, and Kyle in the Quads/Tenor section, it didn’t take long for them to start hanging together and inspiring one another, which eventually led them to Leading the Drumline together for their last two seasons. Since then, they’ve stayed best friends and try to work on their cars together when adulting doesn’t get in the way. Kyle was one of Chris’ groomsmen during his wedding to his bride Bailey just back in October, so when it came time to pick his best man, Chris was a no brainer.
Bridesmaid
Kind of crazy that Nessie and I would most likely not be best friends if Kyle never begged and pleaded to let me come to her own wedding! It took Snowmaggedon and some luck, but now we talk almost every day and are closer than ever.
Groomsman
Brandon is one of Kyle’s younger cousins. Growing up, Kyle considered Brandon the closest thing to a brother for two boys that didn’t live in the same house. Always playing with Transformers, match box cars, and eventually video games, they have a lot of history and good stories to tell growing up together. Kyle cherishes any and all time he gets with his younger cousin and is ecstatic to have him in his wedding party.
Bridesmaid
Alisa’s lovely workout partner in crime! Alisa met Cara in a college class, and they recognized each other from when they attended a birthday party a couple of years prior. Cara was so sweet to help Alisa gain her footing (literally) while she was on crutches. Since then, Cara convinced Alisa to become an AKT Trainer, and they love to try new workout classes.
Groomsman
Ikaika is the oldest of Alisa’s two brothers. He never fails to make a family gathering more lively. Alisa’s favorite memory with Ikaika was when we piled 7 people in a tiny European car to get to our air bnb. Alisa is lucky to have such a strong and caring brother and is so glad to have him up at the alter.
Bridesmaid
Emily is Kyle’s amazing little sister. Always the wild child, Emily has kept busy lately with finishing fashion school in California as of 2021, and then immediately flying off to not only the other side of the country with her boyfriend, Chris Lambert, but also the other side of the world to teach English in Spain with her best friend, Mary. As Emily stands on Alisa’s side of the isle, her presence represents not only the deep bond of siblings but also the embodiment of friendship and love to her newly adopted family member. Kyle and Alisa are thrilled to have Emily so deeply incorporated into their big day.
Groomsman
Kekoa is the younger of Alisa’s two older brothers. He may be quiet, but he enjoys playing any kind of game. Alisa’s favorite memories are playing board games during their holiday get togethers. Kekoa almost always won and took so long on every turn, plotting his strategy. Alisa is happy to have Kekoa join her on the alter and be apart of this special day.
