The Manglik Prasango is a series of religious ceremonies that includes a prayer to Lord Ganesha, a Hindu deity known as the remover of obstacles as well as to welcome and receive blessings from the gods. Turmeric, oil, and water are applied to the bride during the Manglik Prasango. This blesses the couple and makes their skin glow to get them ready for the big day!

Garba/Raas

Colorful Indian or Vibrant American; loose enough to dance around!
This will be a night full of music, dance, and performances! Garba is the folk dance of Gujarat and is performed as a community by synchronized spinning and clapping in an ever-rotating circle. Raas, which is a continuation of the circle dancing, but with decorative sticks (called dandiya) that are held in each hand for you to tap against your neighbors’ as you move through the formation.
