The only other Guinness Brewery outside of Dublin. Opened to the public in 2015, St James Gate brewery now functions as a Guinness Product Research Unit. The distillery, originally called the Maryland Distilling Company, was the first opened after Prohibition ended in 1933. For decades it distilled, barrel-aged, and bottled several spirits brands, notably the Lord Calvert Whisky brand. Come have a beer, take a tour or learn some cool beer history! Please note: anyone under 21 must be accompanied by an adult, ID's will be checked at the door.
