Los Angeles County Arboretum
This is one of our favorite places to relax, unwind, and walk around in nature. There are lots of great spots for photo ops and the Peacock Cafe located inside serves yummy food.
Descanso Gardens
Another botanical garden in the area and the bride's mother's favorite place to walk, Descanso Gardens is a beautiful place to visit in the area.
The Americana At Brand
Came here for lunch with my mother and mother-in-law-to-be after saying "Yes to the dress!" A must visit if you're staying in the area-- it's a great place to shop, eat, and shop some more -- with restaurants and a movie theatre, there are so many things to do. This is definitely one of our favorite date night spots.
Universal City Walk Hollywood
Shop, dine, drink, and enjoy one of LA's staple attractions.
Malibu Wine Hikes

San Antonio Winery
We came here for an event while I was in grad school. It is an intimate and cozy winery that has a great selection of wine and gives you a taste of wine country not too far from home. Get away from the craziness of LA and enjoy a glass of wine at one of our favorite local wineries!
