So Eady to love

I met Jarvis when I was 17 years old at my 1st Sign Language Convention. If you know anything about me I have a very outgoing personality. Jarvis was sitting in front of me and took excellent notes through out the program. Being a newbie to the Sign Language field I was very impressed! And during the noon session I approached him and asked how he did it! Before the weekend was over we exchanged telephone information. Through the following years we would occasionally text and talk on the phone. I was always impressed with the man Jarvis was, he was well traveled and spiritually focused. Jarvis is a man of few words, so I never could gauge his feelings for me. Did he want to just stay friends or be something more? The tune changed in 2020, after some more candid conversations with Jarvis we realized that more than friendship was on horizon. We started dating on July 11th and here we are preparing for our wedding.

When we met I didn't think much of it. All I mean by that is I was still in "single mode". Nothing to worry about and able to go anywhere at will. We were just friends for years who would just check in with each sporadically and see each other at a few ASL conventions. I really started to take notice of what a great person she was while we were talking one day when I was out of the country a few years back. But last year is when I realized what a strong spiritual sister Alina is. That was when I knew what a great wife she would be.
