What time should I arrive?

Please arrive by 4:30PM so you have time to find your seat before the ceremony begins at 5:00PM.

The ceremony will be held indoors in the North Building.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

Please dress up! Formal/Semi-Formal or traditional Indian attire—whatever attire feels festive and celebratory to you. Examples include suits, dresses, sherwanis, kurtas, sarees, lehengas; ultimately whatever feels comfortable to you. If you'd like to coordinate with our wedding colors, they are featured at the top of this page.

Is there parking or transportation info?

Answer

Street parking is available near the venue, and rideshares are encouraged.

I have dietary restrictions. Will there be options for me?

Answer

Absolutely! Vegetarian options and halal meat will be available. Please indicate any dietary needs when you RSVP.

Will there be any traffic or travel issues that day?

Answer

The Chicago Marathon is happening earlier that day, which may cause traffic and street closures in parts of the city. Please plan ahead and allow extra time to get to the venue.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We do not have any hotel blocks reserved as not enough guests will require it. However, if you would like any tips or recommendations please reach out to Huzefa or Alina.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Our nieces and nephews will be in attendance and you are welcome to bring along your children. Please note their meal selections when RSVPing.
