Our Story

Ezekiel and Alina first met at a post church lunch gathering with friends from church. Shortly after, Ezekiel had made his way into the friend group and instantly hit things off with Alina. He then developed a crush on Alina during that time but for some reason never found the right time to confess his feelings. After being good friends for almost 3 years, a moment finally struck Ezekiel to pursue a deeper relationship with Alina. While Alina was traveling out of state with some friends she began to realize Ezekiels commitment to her wellbeing and safety as he stayed up till 3 in the morning to make sure she got to her hotel safely. From there the first spark for Alina was lit. From there things between the two only got better. Late night talks to hanging out almost everyday their interest in each other only grew deeper. Finally, Ezekiel got the courage to confess his feelings for Alina. November 23, 2024 Ezekiel made things official with Alina as the start of their relationship as boyfriend and girlfriend. From there the couple faced many up's and downs. But no matter what their love for God and each other prevailed. Throughout their relationship they have learned many things together and individually. Their biggest lesson was soon to come in the summer of 2025. Ezekiel embarked on his military journey in hopes to serve our country and start his new life for him and Alina. His plan was always to leave but come back for Alina not just as his girlfriend but as his wife. This was truly a challenge for the couple together and separately. During this hardship, it only made their love grow fonder. They learned to lean on God and held each moment close. After 9 long weeks of letters and 10 minute phone calls came the time they were reunited. There the couple finally got to establish their plans of marriage. They recognize that their wedding day would be quick and short notice due to Ezekiel's occupation of being in the military but nonetheless still were eager to plan to spend the rest of their lives together. Marriage is something both hold very close to their hearts. They both value and honor marriage as a sacrament unto God. Their love and commitment to serve God and one another until death due them part is what brought them here today. The unconditional love and support from family and friends throughout their entire relationship has encouraged them to continue to commit to their love and devotion for one another as long as they both shall live. Their plans going forward are to live life together wherever life takes them. Right now life is taking the couple to wherever the military takes them... No matter where they go they will always carry the love and support from their closest family and friends with them. They are excited to serve the Lord and each other together.
