IT TOOK FIVE YEARS OF CONVINCING..... AND SHE'S STILL NOT 100% SURE BUT WE'RE GOING FOR IT!

The story goes back almost five years, when Eric first saw Alina at the gym (of course) and decided that's the girl he would eventually marry. He asked someone about her, but was unfortunately let down when told she was currently dating someone else. He would casually attempt to say hi and talk to her when he saw her around, but she unfortunately never gave him the time of day (firstly, because that's the kind of person she is, and secondly, because she and most other people had assumed Eric was gay - which actually leads us into the next part of the story) Not too long after, when Alina was out to lunch with their mutual friend Phil, Eric came up in conversation, being that both Alina and Eric had done some fitness photo shoots for Phil's fitness supplement line. Phil (who I guess you can say "set us up"), suggested Alina go on a date with Eric to find out if he's actually gay, since everyone at the time assumed it anyways. Since Alina had just ended her previous relationship, she agreed to go on a date with Eric, to either help confirm or deny everyone's suspicion... And so here we are today, five years later, about to walk down the aisle...who woulda thunk it :) Thanks again Phil!

Alina told Eric she only had two stipulations for their eventual wedding proposal: 1. that it would be a surprise (and someone would capture it on camera) 2. that their families would both be there to celebrate with them. Eric took it upon himself to make sure she had the most memorable and amazing proposal she could have wanted. He told Alina they were taking a small weekend vacation down to San Diego, one of their favorite getaway spots. Little did she know both of their families would already be there waiting for them to arrive. After wandering down to the beach in Coronado (with a personal photographer Eric had set up, telling Alina this was a small shoot they were doing in order to have more professional photos together) Eric got down on one knee, and both families and best friends ran out from where they were hiding to see the whole thing unfold. Everyone was crying, and hugging, and thinking, 'so glad this finally happened' (I think they were all wondering what took so long - long story short, it took Alina some time to make sure she was ready to really commit). To make the weekend even more special, Eric had rented out a beautiful house where everyone could spend the whole weekend together. Alina got the proposal she always wanted - mission accomplished...Nice job Eric!!
